Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Bunkr Search at bunkrsearch.com (the "Service") collects, uses, and protects your data. By using the Service, you acknowledge this policy.

2. What Data We Process
Depending on your use, the Service may process:
- Technical data: IP address, user-agent, timestamps, request path — collected automatically for security and operations.
- Operational logs: application diagnostics for reliability and abuse prevention — retained for 30 days.
- Analytics events: search queries, page views, click patterns — collected through Google Analytics (see section 4).
- Preferences: theme, scroll settings, an earlier analytics opt-out — stored locally on your device only (localStorage).
We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or account credentials. The Service has no user accounts or registration.
3. Cookies and Local Storage
The Service uses the following storage mechanisms:

Google Analytics and advertising cookies are set by default. You can block them in your browser settings, with a content blocker, or, for analytics, with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on.
4. Google Analytics (GA4)
The Service uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage patterns (search interactions, page views, click-through patterns). We do not send direct personal identifiers in analytics events. IP anonymization is enabled by default in GA4.

5. Legal Basis for Processing
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): security logs, abuse prevention, infrastructure operations.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): aggregate usage analytics to operate and improve the Service. You may object at any time (see sections 3 and 8).
6. Data Retention
- Server/operational logs: 30 days
- Analytics data (GA4): 14 months (Google default)
- Local preferences: until you clear browser data
7. International Transfers
The Service is hosted on Cloudflare (edge network). Google Analytics data may be processed in the United States under Google's data processing terms. By using the Service, you acknowledge that cross-border transfers may occur where legally permitted.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / EEA)
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate data;
- request erasure ("right to be forgotten");
- restrict or object to processing;
- data portability;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including HTTPS encryption, Cloudflare DDoS protection, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service links to third-party websites. This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party services. Review their privacy policies directly.
11. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has used the Service, we will take steps to delete any associated data.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes become effective upon publication on this page.
